WRA is excited to once again support the California Society for Ecological Restoration (SERCAL) Conference on May 8-10, 2024 at the University of Redlands in the heart of the Santa Ana watershed. This year’s theme is “Holistic Restoration: Restoring and Reconnecting People to Place”.  You can find our team members throughout the week presenting in a variety of session talks.

Thursday, May 9

Rei Scampavia, PhD, WRA Biologist, will present a virtual talk on “Opportunities and Challenges for Pollinator Habitat on Solar Farms” at 1pm in the Restoring Resiliency: Focus on species session.

Tyler Hanson, APSS, WRA Biologist, will present “Process-based Restoration Projects at the Petersen Ranch Mitigation Bank” at 1:45pm in the Making it Work: The Whole Shebang session.

Friday, May 10

Darcy Hardwick, WRA Conservation Project Manager will present “Banking on Nature: Funding Your Restoration Project Using Environmental Markets” at 2pm in the Making it Work: Climate Resilience session.
