WRA experts are excited for this year’s program and you can find them throughout the week chairing sessions, presenting on a wide variety of topics, and at our exhibitor table!
Monday-Tuesday, February 3-4: Small Mammal Symposium

Wednesday, February 5
1:05pm: Rob Schell, WRA’s Wildlife and Fisheries Director will present in the Restoring/Monitoring Wildlife Populations and Habitats 1 Session, “Where to begin? Approaching a large scale wildlife inventory across one of the largest private ranches in California”.
Thursday, February 6
10:35am: Rachel Perpignani, WRA Wildlife Biologist will Chair the Conservation on Military Lands Session.
Friday, February 8
8:00am: Carla Angulo will present in the Natural History of Small Mammals Session,” A novel noninvasive survey tool for shrews and its implication for special status shrews in the San Francisco Estuary”.
10:25am: Katie Smith, PhD will present in the Natural History of Small Mammals Session,”Fight or Flood? Do the Impacts of Weather and Competition Shape SMHM Densities and Habitat Use?“.
10:05am: Beth Sabo, WRA Biologist will present in the Natural History of Amphibians Session, “Habitat Use & Partitioning by Rana Boylii & Taricha Boylii & Taricha Rivularis in their Aquatic Life Stages“.
