Culture & Careers

Our purpose begins with people.

Make your mark.

It’s important to us that people have the freedom to shape their own career. That’s why we work hard to design a flexible work experience so you can explore more than one path. You can feel a sense of pride about making your mark as an individual and clearly see the greater impact you’re creating for your clients, team, and the communities we all love.

Nurture your niche.

As part of our team, you’re surrounded by experts across a wide variety of disciplines, giving you a little flavor of what it would be like to be in their shoes. This cross-pollination of teams offers built-in mentorship opportunities, helping you explore what fulfills you the most and gets you excited about coming to work here every day.

Bigger isn’t always better.

Here, you’ll never feel like a small cog in a big machine. With us, you get the best of both worlds. We’re big enough to offer a broad range of experiences but small enough that you’re part of building something special. By putting people first, we’ve nurtured a culture where our team can design experiences that balance their work and their life. It helps us continue to attract the kind of people who value being at a place like this.

Team Spotlight

My favorite part about working at WRA is the never-ending room to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. WRA has afforded me the opportunity to pursue my passion in California botany, doing rare plant surveys across the state, taking courses, attending conferences, and continuing my education in plants.

Scott Yarger, ISA Certified Arborist
Biologist

What do I enjoy about working at WRA? EVERYTHING! The projects that we have are dynamic and impactful. We are able to openly talk about how we can effectively merge our passions and values with the consulting world. Most importantly, I love being a part of a company with great people that supports its employees and offers so much flexibility.
