Federal and State Regulatory Agencies Approve Largest Wetland Mitigation Bank in California

State, Federal Agencies to Protect 4,000 Acres to Offset Ecological Impacts

IMG_6613_cropWRA is proud to announce our mitigation banking department has achieved another huge milestone.  After working with the Interagency Review Team for several years, we were able to garner approvals from the Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board to establish the Petersen Ranch Mitigation Bank in Los Angeles County.  Spanning more than 4,000 acres, Petersen Ranch is now the largest mitigation bank in the State of California. We want to thank and congratulate our clients Tracey Brownfield and Linda Law of Land Veritas for this amazing accomplishment.

On May 17, 2016 the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board officially approved the bank. Read the press release here. To learn more about the bank, visit the Petersen Ranch webpage.
