WRA Congratulates Derell Griffin, ISA Certified Arborist

WRA congratulates Derell Griffin who recently earned his International Society for Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist credential, joining a growing team of arborists at WRA.

Derell is a senior restoration landscape designer with WRA’s Riverscapes and Shorelines Group. He specializes in ecological design. He earned a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Michigan State University. With strong interests in ecology, social justice, and water management, Derell seeks to design landscapes that function socially as well as ecologically. In addition to his ISA certification, Derell is also a ReScape Qualified Professional.
