WRA landscape architects prepared a plan for the 2000-acre Lucky Day Ranch property to become a wildlife conservation and wetland mitigation bank. We developed a conceptual bank plan that consists of vernal pools, amphibian breeding ponds, and enhanced riparian wetlands. The Lucky Day Ranch property has an array of habitats, including serpentine rock outcroppings, and supports special status species such as the California tiger salamander and the California red-legged frog.WRA landscape architects prepared concept plans for California red-legged frog breeding ponds.Cross sections for the proposed California tiger salamander and California red-legged frog breeding ponds show how the ponds would fit into the existing landscape and provide optimal habitat for the species.
