WRA’s Matt Richmond, Board Vice-Chair of the Golden State Land Conservancy (GSLC), recently led a guided nature walk at Azalea Farm in Sonoma County, California. The property consists of more than 77 acres including numerous old growth redwood trees, a perennial stream, and serpentine habitat. The tour included insight into forest management and preservation of old-growth redwood trees.

GSLC is committed to helping protect Azalea Farm in perpetuity and the redwood trees that call it home. This is a great example of how GSLC helps ensure the future legacy of California’s diverse landscapes of vital habitats and ecosystems through development of creative, forward-looking conservation solutions throughout the Golden State.
