His project focuses have included coastal infrastructure and resilience, water delivery, transportation, energy generation and storage, and ecological restoration.

At WRA, Mike serves on the Executive Committee, leading implementation of the firm’s strategic plan, strengthening operational systems and cross-functional collaboration, guiding technology and enterprise initiatives, and helping align project delivery with business objectives to support sustainable growth and an exceptional client experience.

“It’s an honor to be entrusted to manage the thoughtful growth and operational capacity of this employee-owned firm,” said Mike Henry. “WRA brings highly talented technical specialists and project managers, creative and dedicated marketing and administrative teams, and leadership that has positioned WRA for continued success in habitat restoration (including rivers and shorelines), biological resources, mitigation banking, and environmental planning and permitting.”

Mike earned his PhD in Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
